Calling all corporate teams! Join St. Johns County Parks Naturalists and Matanzas Riverkeeper for the Weed Wrangle, a hands-on event dedicated to protecting our local parks from invasive plant species. This unique volunteer opportunity doubles as a team-building activity, allowing your company or group to collaborate with environmental experts while directly contributing to the restoration and sustainability of Vilano Beach Pavilion’s cherished green spaces.
During this event, participants will focus on removing invasive species like Mother of Millions, a plant that can be easily hand-pulled, helping to rescue our public parks and restore their natural balance.
Spaces are limited to 30 participants, so don’t wait—registration closes January 9, 2025.
