St. Johns County Parks & Recreation Beach Services is making it easier (and less stressful) to hit the sand this Memorial Day weekend. From May 24–26, two free beach shuttle routes will help residents and visitors skip the parking hassle at two popular beach spots Operating Daily from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
St. Augustine Beach Shuttle: Runs from City Hall (2200 A1A South) to the Fishing Pier parking lot
Mickler’s Landing Shuttle: Runs from Cornerstone Park (1046 A1A North) to Mickler’s Landing Beachfront Park
The County is also stepping up safety, with lifeguards on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and local law enforcement patrolling all weekend. Remember: beach flags show current water conditions—no flag doesn’t mean no risk, so check in with a lifeguard if you're unsure.

On-beach driving? It's allowed from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., but always stay in the designated lanes and check daily conditions on social (@SJCBeaches) or download the SJC Connect app.
